Hand dipped and rubbed with various shades including a little teal, each hat is unique and you won't find any hat more comfortable. Don't fret if the paint flakes a bit. That's what gives it the lovely patina.
There's a smooth patch in the crown that makes it soft on your head (no hair needed).
The 3-3/4 inch brim is a little smaller than the traditional cowboy hat. The flex sweatband is really soft and is perfect for inserting sizing tape if you need to tighten it a bit. We ship the sizing tape with the hat.
